I was asked by Evans Brothers to produce some character sketches for a book. When they asked me if I could draw sausages, I said WHAT? This has definitely been the silliest but fun book I've ever had to do! It just proves that even a sausage can become a character when you give them eyes and a mouth! I had great fun designing the broccoli family and the beans facial expressions, which took me ages. The story is fun to read and the pictures really bring it to life (if I say so myself!) It always goes down well with year 1’s.
